Where have we been?

We are often asked where the houses are that we have drawn and researched. The short answer is – all over the place. So far we have concentrated on the UK although we have had recent commissions in France and even New Zealand.

Most popular UK locations appear to be the Home Counties, especially Oxfordshire and Hampshire, such a wealth of historic houses, though not all of the houses we draw are ancient. We have done a couple of very new houses where the previous buildings on the site have been explored and even a 1960s terraced house with a fascinating story about the architect involved.

We have had our largest concentration of work in London, which is not really surprising as that is where we are based. Our work started with a few friends and local commissions which also means that there are quite a few in South East London. Especially the Dulwich area where there is a huge interest in local history.

We will undertake projects ANYWHERE in the world so please get in touch via the website www.archistory.co.uk if you would like an estimate.

We are happy to take on projects anywhere and have recently created a drawing of a house in New Zealand
